The Indieannas

Following up on the success of 2012 including an appearance at the Y-Not Festival, Buxton band The Indieannas recently released 'Flying High' as a single and it's saw critical acclaim from music bloggers and fast become a fans favourite on the launch tour.

Why?  Because it's a high octane, in your face, Indie guitar thrashing, pounding beat, floor filling rock 'n' rolla.

Where Did All the Good Times Go - Single, The IndieannasWell the good news is they've just released 'Where Did All The Good Times Go' as a single, (available on i-tunes) with accompanying video and they're on to another winner.  The Indieannas are showing their softer side here with this haunting track.  The well crafted lyrics are well matched by the seemingly introspective and well shot video.  With over 25,000 views already it's a testament to the fact that The Indiennas have a firmly established fan-base that extends beyond Derbyshire.

The Indiannas are Ged Potts - lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Charlie Willcox - vocals & guitar, Mark Whibberley - bass and Jon Stone - drums.  They're a tight knit band and it shows both in the musicality of their recordings and live on stage.  The latest release is a double A-side and whilst 'Money Man' isn't going to be a classic, it'll be a firm favourite with the bands fans at gigs and again, it's accompanied by sharp video.

Next gig not to be missed is - Kraak, Manchester on the 6th June with Grand Old Juke and Stolen Peace.
